WipeOS Website Privacy Policy

This policy explains our information practices, defines your privacy options and describes how your information is collected and used.
This policy covers the website at http://www.wipeos.com (the “WOS Website”).  The WOS Website is owned and operated by WipeOS, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company (“WOS”).  Should you have privacy questions or concerns, send an email to privacychief@wipeos.com.

By using visiting the WOS Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in the manner described in this policy.

 If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email, by means of a notice the next time you log in to the WOS Website, by means of a notice on the WOS Website homepage or by notice next time you access and use the WOS products and services (the “WOS Services”). Such revisions and additions shall be effective immediately upon notice. You are responsible for reviewing the WOS Website periodically for any modification to this policy.  Any access or use of the WOS Website or WOS Services by you after notice of modifications to this policy shall constitute and be deemed to be your agreement to such modifications.

 

The Information We Collect

This policy applies to all information collected on the WOS Website, any information you provide to WOS and any information you submit or create as part of your use of the WOS Services. You will most likely provide us personal information to us when you register as a user of WOS Website, purchase and use the WOS Services, participate in certain WOS promotions or events or apply for a job with WOS. The personal information we may collect includes: your name, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, user names and passwords, credit and debit card information and Pay Pal account information.

 

Blogs and Product Ratings

The WOS Website may include blogs, product ratings or other message areas that allow users to post or send information to the WOS Website. When you post information to the WOS Website, other site visitors can also view that information.  We urge you to exercise caution when providing personally identifiable information to WOS or the WOS Website.

 

Our Collection of Your Data.

How we Use Information

To learn about how people, use our site, we examine weblogs, which show the paths people take through the WOS Website and how long they spend in certain areas.

Your mobile phone or tablet (a “Mobile Device”) includes a unique electronic identifier that may identify your Mobile Device or may identify you as the owner/ user of the Mobile Device (the “Device ID”). Also, your Mobile Device may include technology that allows the WOS Services to identify the approximate physical location from which you are using your Mobile Device (the “Device Location”). The Device ID and Device Location may be used by WOS to personalize the WOS Services for your use by providing more relevant or location specific content or services. Except as necessary to (1) operate or maintain the SOW Services or (2) provide the personalization noted above, WOS will make no other use of the Device ID or the Device Location. Please take note, though, that the wireless carrier that you use to connect your Mobile Device to the WOS Services shall be able to collect your Device ID and Device Location; there use of such data is subject to their privacy not this Privacy Policy.

WOS may contract with unaffiliated third parties to provide services such as customer communications, website analytics, website and data hosting and other services. When we do this, we may provide your personally identifiable information to third parties only to provide those services, and they are not authorized to use your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

 

Our Commitment to Data Security

Access to your data is limited to authorized WOS staff or approved vendors. Although total security does not exist on the Internet or through mobile networks, WOS shall make commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard the information that you submit to WOS or that WOS collects.

 

Use of the WOS Website by Children

The WOS Website is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

 

Your Privacy Preferences

When you sign up as a registered user of the WOS Website you may begin receiving marketing communications such as e-mail newsletters, product and service updates and promotions. Our customers generally find this type of information useful. If you do not want to receive these updates, you must “opt-out” by unchecking the “Add me to the mailing list” box on the registration page, or should you choose to opt-out after registering, you can use any of the following methods: select the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email and follow the opt-out instructions; or send an email to unsubscribe@wipeos.com.

 

How to Access, Correct or Delete Your Information

You can access, correct or delete your personally identifiable information that we collect by sending us an email to privacychief@wipeos.com. To protect your privacy and security, we require a user ID and password to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to such personally identifiable information. Please be advised that certain personal information may not be corrected or deleted if we must by law retain such information as submitted.

 

Disclosure of Information

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.  It is also possible that WOS would sell the company or all or substantially all of its assets.  In any transaction of this kind, customer information, including your personally identifiable information, may be among the assets that are transferred. If we decide to so transfer your personally identifiable information, you will be notified by an email sent to the last known email address in our files and/or by notice posted on the WOS Website or through the WOS Services.

The WOS Website and the WOS Services may contain links to other websites. WOS is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites.
