The team here at WipeOS is always doing what we can do to facilitate the unique needs of our clients. We recently added the ability to format a drive after it has been wiped. This can be used to add value to the process.

Once a drive has been wiped, it will apply the file partition format to the hard drive. WipeOS currently supports NTFS format but other formats are available upon request.

NTFS is packed with modern features not available to FAT32 and exFAT. NTFS supports file permissions for security, a change journal that can help quickly recover errors if your computer crashes, shadow copies for backups, encryption, disk quota limits, hard links, and various other features. Many of these are crucial for an operating system drive – especially file permissions.

As your trusted partner, WipeOS will work with you to continually develop and improve workflow. As new features are added they become available for all WipeOS users at no additional charge. We welcome the feedback and input from our growing community of successful WipeOS users.

If you are not yet a WipeOS user, the best thing to do is to set up a webinar call. That way we can discuss your unique process and how we can add value to it.
