WipeOS was founded by veterans of the IT Asset Disposition industry who wanted to create one simple solution for permanently wiping data from any storage device. Since then, we have added hardware diagnostics, mobile wiping, and imaging capabilities.

We are preparing for our next wave of growth and are adding another Software Developer or Computer Engineer to our expanding team.

Our stack: Linux, Yocto, Python, IPXE, Bash, Postgresql, Javascript, opkg, QT5, Django, C++

Duties:

• Diagnose, debug, and develop features
• Add support for hardware
• Assist customers directly with issues as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Comfortable on the command line
• Proficient with Linux (“Everything is a file”, pipes, ssh, etc)
• Prior experience with C and Python
• Git version control
• Willing to learn
• Understanding of hardware and its interactions with the linux kernel
• Documentation
• Commute to our Eden Prairie Office. No remote options are available at this time.
